Book review'The Monarchs: The Great American Rock 'n' Roll Dream' |
"The Monarchs: The Great American Rock 'n' Roll Dream, by Louisville author Billy Reed, has received a national award. The Independent Publisher Books "IPPY" Award for best regional non-fiction went to the book, which was published by Butler Books.
Reed will make two appearances this weekend to sign copies of that book, as well as another he wrote and published this year, "Celebrating 54 Years at Freedom Hall." He will be at Borders Books and Music, Shelbyville Road Plaza, from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, and follow that from 4 to 6 p.m. at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, The Summit.
